How to use the online scorekeeper
Step-by-step instructions for Table Scorekeeper.
Table Scorekeeper is a free online scorekeeper for board games, card games, classroom contests, and Jeopardy-style point tracking. Add two to ten players or team labels, rename them, tap common score changes, or enter a custom positive or negative adjustment. Undo protects against a mistap, round notes help mark progress, and an optional target score highlights leaders. The active game stays in local browser storage. The pad records what you enter; it does not know game rules or verify an official result.
How it works
- Set the number of players (2–10) and edit names on the scoreboard.
- Tap quick increment buttons or enter a custom delta for each player or team row.
- Use undo if you mis-tap; add round notes when you advance rounds.
- Optionally set a target score, print a summary, or rematch to zero scores while keeping names.
Examples
- Board game night: Use +1, +5, and +10 buttons during a fast scoring round.
- Penalty points: Enter a negative custom delta and add a note explaining the correction.
- Target race: Set a target score so leaders and winners are highlighted automatically.
Limitations
- The scorekeeper does not enforce game rules, settle ties beyond what you enter, or sync a game across devices.
- It is not affiliated with any TV game show; Jeopardy-style use means generic point tracking only.
